Jariyah Bowles, just a freshman, reached the championship bout at 106 in the Class 1A Dist. 7 meet in Ogden. He lost, but earned a spot in the State Championships in Des Moines. He opens the meet at 9 a.m.

AGWSR head coach Chad Gerbracht said he expected anywhere from two to six State Qualifiers heading into Saturday’s Class 1A District 7 meet in Ogden. But he knows all too well that nothing is guaranteed.
While he will be bringing his largest contingent in his 24th and final season in the Cougar corner with four, three others let their opportunities slip through their fingers.
