Noelle Katschke

Iowa Falls-Alden's Noelle Katschke smacked four doubles to help lead the Cadets past Hampton-Dumont/CAL by a 8--5 final in eighth innings on Wednesday. That feat set a new school record.

Extra film study may have been the difference at the plate for senior Noelle Katschke, and her success was a big reason why Iowa Falls-Alden advanced past Hampton-Dumont/CAL following Wednesday's Class 3A Regional Quarterfinal.

Both teams had split two conference meetings during the season, but Katschke had been flummoxed by Bulldog pitcher Ashley Hanson, striking out a combined five times versus the left-hander.
