Teresa Paulsen battles a DMACC player for the rebound in Wednesday's 2022 opener. ECC lost its 12th game in a row, falling 67-44 to the Bears.

Both teams were without their leading scorer Wednesday night as DMACC took care of business against Ellsworth Community College, 67-44.

The Panthers were not just without Aaliyah Chambers, who is averaging nearly 24 points per game. But they were also without four other regulars in the lineup, leading to just seven available on the bench. Of the seven, five scored including two newcomers.
