Howard is coach for the day

There were a few extra chairs on the Ellsworth Community College bench Friday night.

At the 2022 Ellsworth College Foundation's annual Gala, Panther men’s basketball coach Bryan Bender was the keynote speaker. Bender decided to auction off an opportunity to be an honorary coach for the day and be a part of the Panther squad. Steve Howard won the honor after a bid of $10,000.
