Gintare Paskocimaite, or 'G' to her friends, started playing baseball at the age of 9. She eventually moved to softball and became the first female player from Lithuania to play college softball.

As a young girl, Gintare Paskocimaite had big diamond dreams.

The athlete wanted to be a collegiate softball player – even though there was just one women’s team in Lithuania.
