Richie Warren was one of four ECC players in double figures in the Panthers win over No. 17 DMACC.

Temperatures outside may have been frigid, but Ellsworth Community College was red hot Wednesday night inside Martin Dittmer Gymnasium.

The Panthers used the combination of lights out shooting and smothering defense in the first half to build a double-digit advantage over No. 17 DMACC and didn’t look back. ECC did not trail during the 20 minutes against the reigning National Champions, opening the 2022 portion of the schedule with a 71-61 victory.
