ECC coaches

Last year was a difficult one for Ellsworth Community College athletics. But, with a dedicated coaching staff, athletic director Nate Forsyth hopes that it is not something that will be repeated. The seven Panther teams combined for an overall record of 45-181.

A combined record of 45-181 during the 2018-19 sports calendar season is not what anybody associated with Ellsworth Community College athletics wants to see.

With four new head coaches and other changes taking effect throughout the organization, a calendar year of struggles were something that could be somewhat expected.

Panther head football coach Mitchell Kleinschrodt is one of two first year head coaches for the 2019-2020 season. Kleinschrodt is hoping to turn around a 2-9 program from a year ago.

ECC women's basketball

The Ellsworth Community College women's basketball team did not win a game last season. But in her second season at the helm, Molly Greenfield has high hopes for this year's squad.

Cole Spree

One program that has seen success over the years is the ECC wrestling program. Last year, Cole Spree led the Panthers to a 4-2 mark and a fifth place in the national tournament.

Sport Overall Record Conference Record

Men's Basketball 9-21 4-10
Women's Basketball 0-30 0-16
