The sting of losing a state championship by one run is still pretty fresh, but AGWSR isn't about to just sit there and let the wound fester. They know, though, that getting back to the Class 1A title game for a third time in five years will take some work.

The good thing is, everybody but a couple of girls are back from that squad. The not so good news is, All-State pitcher Taryan Barrick is out for the first couple weeks of the season as she works her way back from a fall league injury.
