Big plays by both the South Hardin defense and their offense helped them hold off a one-win BCLUW on Monday night.
For those that take a quick glance at the final score on Monday, they may assume it was a blowout between South Hardin and No. 5 BCLUW.
South Hardin and Grundy Center were tied at 2-2 in the top of the sixth when the game was called on May 30. The two were scheduled to pick up the rest of that game and play the second time around when they went to Grundy Center.
At the end of the season, South Hardin is going to want to take both games against Grundy Center back. The first time through, the Spartans won on a weather shortened contest (5-4).
After the way South Hardin played on Wednesday night, they needed a bounce back game the next day.
