For week four of the high school football season, Iowa Falls-Alden hosts Prairie City Monroe in their Class 2A District 7 opener; South Hardin hosts Dike-New Hartford to begin Class 1A District 3 play; and AGWSR travels to Wapsie Valley in Class A District 3 action.

After dropping a set in uncharacteristic fashion, the South Hardin coaches told their players it was time to fight like tigers. Co-head coach John Teske said to pin their ears back, get mad and fight for their team. He told them not to let a ball drop and keep swinging and being aggressive.

South Hardin and Iowa Falls-Alden will face off against each other in a greenbelt area gridiron battle and AGWSR will be hosting NICL-West foe BCLUW for week 3.

In order for South Hardin to repeat as NICL-West champions – it was going to be a hard fought path. The Tigers face fellow co-titlists and ranked opponents Gladbrook-Reinbeck and Grundy Center within five days of each other and both on the road.
