The South Hardin Tigers and AGWSR Cougars combined for 13 placings at Thursday’s Pirate Relays in Hudson. SH grabbed 11 of them to finish fifth while AGWSR finish 14th in the 18-team field.

The three Hardin County high schools waged a battle for bragging rights in Ackley and Wellsburg Tuesday night. While some may put more weight on one win or the other, it was a draw for AGWSR and Iowa Falls-Alden, with South Hardin left behind.
Three greenbelt area track teams - Iowa Falls-Alden, South Hardin and AGWSR - could only muster a combined three golds at Tuesday's Cadet Relays, but there were enough solid performances from the Cadets and Tigers for both teams to finish among the top four squads.
