Moving 4,600 miles away and going to a foreign country for months on end can be difficult. Especially when the language and culture is completely different. Luckily, basketball is similar no matter what and it is a way to connect two different worlds.
Ellsworth Community College’s Ingrid Martinez and Andrea Aragon knew nothing about Iowa before making the decision to sign to play on the hardwood for the Panthers. Even through some challenges, it was the right choice.
