Ryan and John Walters

It's not all that often that brothers get to make such an impact on a team as Ryan and John Walters have. Especially since they are two years apart. Both have had really good seasons on the gridiron and look forward to finishing out John's high school athletic career on the same teams.

Ryan Walters remembers sitting and watching his older brother, John, and his friends playing sports.

“When do I get to play? I just want to play,” he would say to their mom, Julie.

Walters brothers

During Friday's win at Hudson, older brother John, pushes Ryan Walters across the goal line for the score. Ryan finishes with two touchdowns and John one in the 41-20 victory over the Pirates.

King of the mountain

Though John and Ryan Walters have always been competitive, John and his friends have always included his younger brother when they play. Ryan even got to practice with the older kids sometimes.
